Everything here is made to order, which means we hold the thing you designed and the address it goes to. This is what that involves.
Who we are
MomntMade is a trading name of Alpha Sales & Distribution LLC, 555 E Mangum St, Ste 100, Durham, NC 27701, United States. We are the data controller for everything described below.
Write to us at that address, or through the contact page, for anything on this page — including a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion.
What you give us, and why
To make something: the words, dates and places you type into a design, plus any photo or voice recording you add. This is the design itself — we cannot print it without keeping it.
To deliver it: your name, email address, delivery address and, for some couriers, a phone number.
To take payment: nothing. Your card details go straight to Stripe or PayPal and never reach our servers. We are told the last four digits and whether it worked.
Who else sees it
The maker who prints your piece — ShineOn or Gelato — receives the finished print file and your delivery address. They cannot see your other orders, your account or your payment details.
Stripe or PayPal take the payment. Resend sends the confirmation and shipping emails. Mapbox is asked for a picture of the place you typed, which means that address is sent to Mapbox.
Nobody else. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
A design you never ordered: 90 days, then it and any photo or recording attached to it are deleted. We email you before that happens.
A design you did order: kept, because if the piece arrives damaged the only way to make it again is to still have the artwork.
Order records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Scan codes and recordings
If your piece carries a printed code, the page it opens stays available — the code is printed on metal or paper and cannot be changed afterwards, so we do not expire it once the piece has shipped.
A recording attached to a design you never bought is deleted with the design.
Cookies and measurement
Essential cookies only, unless you accept the rest. One of them remembers your basket before you have an account; that is how a guest can buy something.
If you accept, we use PostHog to see which pages get used. Decline and it is never loaded at all. You can change your mind from the footer.
What you can ask for
A copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. Write to us and we will do it — deletion may have to wait on an order that is still being made.
If you are in the UK or EU, this is your right of access, rectification and erasure. If you are in California, it is your right to know and to delete. Either way, just ask.
