Terms of sale
Plain terms for a shop where nothing exists until you order it. Buying something means you accept these.
Who you are buying from
MomntMade is a trading name of Alpha Sales & Distribution LLC, 555 E Mangum St, Ste 100, Durham, NC 27701, United States. That company is the seller on every order and the party these terms are with.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
Everything is made after you buy it
Nothing here sits in a warehouse. When you pay, a print file is generated from the design you approved and sent to the maker who prints that material. That is why it takes days rather than hours, and why the piece cannot be resold to anybody else.
What you approve is what gets made
The design is frozen at the moment you pay. Editing your saved design afterwards does not change the piece that is being printed — if you spot a mistake, write to us straight away and we will stop it if it has not gone to the press.
Small differences between the picture on screen and the finished piece are normal: colour on a lit screen is not colour on paper, metal or ceramic.
Prices and tax
The price you see is the price charged, in US dollars. Every amount is recalculated on our servers at checkout, so a stale page cannot buy something at yesterday's price.
Sales tax is added at checkout based on the delivery address. Shipping is priced per destination and material; standard delivery is free over $150.
No returns, because it is yours
None of our makers accepts a personalised piece back, so nothing is posted to us. That is not a way of avoiding responsibility — it is why the next clause exists.
You can still cancel an order that has not been sent to the maker yet. Write to us and we will refund it in full.
If it arrives wrong, we make it again
Damaged, defective, or not what you designed: report it from your order page and we will reprint it. The window counts from the day it was delivered, not the day you ordered, and your order page shows how long you have.
Where a reprint is not what you want, we will refund instead. A refund for a piece that was made correctly is at our discretion.
What you upload has to be yours
By ordering you confirm you have the right to use the words, photographs, names and links in your design. Designs are reviewed before they are manufactured, and we will refuse and refund anything that infringes someone else's rights, identifies a private person without cause, or is unlawful.
You keep the rights to your own design. We keep a copy only so we can print it, reprint it, and show you your own order.
Printed scan codes
If your piece carries a code, you choose where it points and you confirm the destination before you buy. We check the link is well formed and reachable; we do not vouch for what is at the other end, and we cannot change it once it is engraved or printed.
A code that opens a recording you made keeps working after the piece ships.
Delivery estimates are estimates
Production and delivery times shown at checkout come from the maker for that material and destination. They are honest estimates, not guarantees, and a courier delay is not something we can undertake to prevent.
